We started this charitable organization in the Hemingway, South Carolina area. It is called Caring and Sharing, Inc. Initially, we were serving a radius of approximately 15 miles around Hemingway. Currently we serve a radius of approximately 30 miles around Hemingway with a population of between 100,000-150,000 people. Caring and Sharing needs your help to continue expanding in order to serve more needy families.

We're building this organization's foundation on Matthew 22:36-39, 

"Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law?" 

Jesus said unto him,  "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like unto it: Love thy neighbor as thyself."

Why are we doing this? Because we love the Lord and we love our neighbors. We see the needs of others in our community and we want to assist those as God would have us do. So many people have needs of one kind or another that they are not able to control because of a limited income or because their medical bills and other numerous reasons. God expects us as Christians to help those we can. This is what Caring and Sharing, Inc. plans to do and is doing all that we can do with the money that we have.

We have been chartered by the State of South Carolina as a non-profit corporation. We are also recognized by the IRS so that all contributions are tax deductible. We have seven members on our Board. There are currently no full time employees. These are Christian men and women who freely volunteer their time. We would like you to help us if you can and in any way you can. We would also like each church to be a referral to us. We not only help others financially but in any way that we can.
